Photo file of Dr. Hyoung Min Kim. He left Denton, Texas early in the morning on November 24, Monday 4AM. Dr. Kim arrived at Cumana in the evening via Dallas, Miami, and Caracas after 17 hours’ travel. The class of Evangelism initiated on Nov 25, Tuesday morning at 630AM and finished Thursday evening. He is the pastor of Denton Korean Baptist Church, adjunct professor of the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Asian Consultant of Texas Convention.
김형민 박사님은 11월 24일 월요일 새벽 4시에 텍사스주 덴톤시를 출발하여 달라스, 마이아미, 카라카스를 거쳐 꾸마나에 오후 9시경에 도착하다. 장장 17시간의 여행이었다. 화요일 부터 목요일까지 전도론을 아침 6시30분-8시, 오후 4시-8시 강의로 마무리 하시다. 김박사님은 덴톤 한인침례교회, 남서침례신학원 교수, 텍사스 주 아시아계 교회 콘설튼터로 봉사하시는 목사님이시다.
Dr. Kim is a man of prayer. His class was emotional and dynamic, and many moved by his lecture and testimony. All enjoyed last MDiv class of 2008 and class party provided by Dr. Kim.
김박사님은 기도의 사림으로 전도론 열강과 개인 간증으로 많은 학생들에게 감명를 주었고, 이번학기 마지막 MDiv 특강이었고 마지막 파티도 열어주시었다.
Students prayed for his ministry. Dr. Kim did not have much time to look around Cumana, and visited a few interesting site, such as Catillo Cumana, Central Church, Brasil Sur church, etc. 학생들은 목사님께 안수기도로 보답하였고, 시간이 허락치않아 중앙교회, 꾸마나성, 브라실 술 교회를 방문하는것도 쉽지않았다.
This is typical transportation system for the students of the Universidad de Oriente. University-operated-bus is free and 7 destinations all around city of Cumana, but cannot cover all directions. 저가 은퇴한 오리엔떼 대학교 (UDO)의 학생들 통학 버스는 전부 무료로 7개 로선에 운영 되고있다. 그러나 담당지역외에는 소형버스가 유료로 운영된다.
So some micro-buses and modified pick-up truck are operated as students’ cost, $0.30 each ride. 유료 버스들의 모습들이 다양하다. 픽읍을 개조한 버스등. 일회 승차 요금은 미화 30전 정도.
Private school “Domingo Montes” moved in Seminary building and hopefully we can influence their moral and ethical behavior to be a good citizen and some continue studying at seminary. 카리브 복음신학원 자리에 올긴 “도밍고 몬떼” 중등학교 학생들 모습. 곧 크리스천 학교로 개편하도록 준비 중 이지만 사회주의로 향한 정부방침이 관심사다.
My wife Kumja was hospitalized last Friday after Dr. Kim left Cumana. She had the classical “Dengue” infection, but is recovering very well and may return to home before this week-end. 사모가 지난 금요일 28일 김형민 박사님이 꾸마나를 출발한 후 급성 “덴게”로 입원 하였으나, 금주 말 전에 집으로 돌아와 요양 할 수 있도록 기도한다.

2. Special Bachelor class was fulfill its mission for 2 months and pray for joining with normal class in spring semester
3. Smooth process of the repair-building for seminary and private school operation
4. Financial support for the regional pastors’ conference and 2009-graduation ceremony
5. Physical and spiritual health of the Missionary, the Chungs

1. 신대원과정 선교차원의 교수요원확보
2. 학부과정 특설반 2개월 보충수업이 끝났으며, 이들이 내년 봄에 기존반에 합반 가능하도록
3. 시설 보수 순조로와 중등교, 신학교 운영에 도움 되도록
4. 내년 졸업식과 원주민 목사 수양회 재정지원 가능토록
5. 정 선교사 가정 영육간 건강 유지되도록
