미국 성인 인터넷이용자의 36% Wikipedia 참고

미국 성인 인터넷이용자의 1/3이상이 이용자 참여형 백과사전인 Widipedia
를 참고하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 비록 Widipedia 콘텐츠는 신뢰성이 검증
되지 않아 문제의 소지가 있을 수 있으나, 교육수준이 높은 층에서는 오히려
인가가 더 커지고 있다.

연령별로는 18~29세의 44%가 Widipedia를 참고하고 있다고 응답하였으며, 30~49세 38%,
50~64세 31%, 65세이상 25% 순으로 나타났다. 소득수준이 높을 수록 wikipedia를 참고한다는
응답 또한 높게 나타났다.

한편, 교육적이고 참고할 만한 웹사이트 순위에서도 Wikipedia가 1위로 나타났다.
